The terms and conditions below apply to all orders placed at geekoverload.co.uk. By placing an order, you are indicating your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Items for sale

I will always attempt to provide as much technical and descriptive information as is reasonable about the products sold on this site. All images are stock photography. All information is provided for the sole purpose of providing customers with an accurate description of the items for sale prior to purchase. While I will always attempt to ensure that this information is as up to date as possible, I cannot always guarantee that this will always be the case. Should you have any questions about any product on this site, please contact me before purchase to avoid disappointment.

Prices

The total price payable for the items and their delivery will be as shown during the checkout process. On rare occasions, if an item has been mis-priced when listed on the website, I reserve the right to cancel an order and refund the price of the item. However, to date, this has never occurred, and in the event of minor mis-pricing, I have honoured the listed price. Prices are listed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Payment Methods

The main payment methods used on this website is – PayPal (incorporating Smart Debit and Credit Cards). I reserve the right to cancel an order and provide a full refund back to the original payment method.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, particularly as most items are listed in singular quantities. Should I make an error with an item’s displayed available quantity, and an order is received for the item for which I have no more available, I will immediately refund any payment for the item with apologies.

Refunds

Should I need to provide a refund for an order or part of an order, this will be done via the same payment used to place the order. Although I will make the refund at the first opportunity, there may be a delay in the refund being received, depending on the payment method – up to ten business days. Unfortunately, this is completely out of my control as this is processed by PayPal Payments.

Delivery Charges

The cost of the delivery depends on the size and weight of your order and the carrier used. The delivery price will be indicated on product page. Standard home delivery UK Mainland starts from £5.25 and increases according to weight and the volume.

Royal Mail 1st Class Signed for. Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature. Royal Mail 1st Class Signed for is used for our standard delivery method. After your order is processed it should be delivered within 1-2 working days (excludes weekend and bank holidays) if our products are available.

Delivery Times

This date depends on the delivery method you choose and where the products are stocked. Most of our products are stocked in the UK and will be shipped the same day. Bank holidays and weekends will increase your delivery time but this will already be reflected in your estimated delivery date. Once your product has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email and shortly after you will be able to track your order on your carrier's website.

USA, Canada and Europe. Worldwide.

  • Europe delivery aim: 3-5 working days.
  • Worldwide delivery aim: 5-7 working days.
Item Guarantees

All consoles and games are guaranteed to be working on arrival, unless specifically listed as being for spares/repairs. All consoles are tested prior to me adding them to the site and where possible, the more unreliable game formats, such as NES and Atari 2600, are also tested. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition, routine maintenance is not covered. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have. If you have received a faulty item or one this is not working as expecsted, please get in touch to discuss it further.

Returns Physical Goods

If you are not totally happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) on your order for a full refund within seven working days from date of delivery, less any applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in suitable packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will not be accepted. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within seven days from the date of delivery. If goods are not returned within seven days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be withdrawn. This right to return items that are non-faulty only applies to orders placed within the UK. However, if you are from outside of the UK and you are not entirely happy with the order you have received, please get in touch to discuss it further.

Returns Digitel Media

Buyers acknowledge that they are paying for the physical hardware only. Buyers must also acknowledge that all software included on any digital format or storage device is provided free of charge and is solely intended for educational and testing purposes only.

Digital media, micro SD card, SSD (Solid State Drives), HDD (Hard Disk Drives) USB storage Digital Downloads. Because of the nature of these items and the amount of time taken to produce the product on a per customer basis.

I do not offer refunds on Micro SD card, SSD (Solid State Drives), HDD (Hard Disk Drives) USB storage Digital Downloads.

However, if your card or hard drive arrives faulty, a like for like exchange can easily be arranged if the card or drive is not functioning correctly. If you accidently delete your data, we offer a free reload service. You will need to post the item to us using a signed for service and include a prepaid signed for return envelope. Our free reload service covers the original storage device purchased by the customer, once every twelve months.

I acknowledge that by placing an order, you are indicating your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • You own a license for any rom or image included on any storage medium or digital download provided by Geek Overload. You will NOT distribute any of these files illegally. You can evaluate the games you don’t own for 24 hours and after that period has elapsed you must delete the roms from the hard drive.

General

The terms and conditions shown above do not affect your statutory rights. I will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to the terms and conditions as detailed above.
